new quilt on the way

I’ve had these fabrics sitting around for almost a year. Most of them are from Cool Cottons and a few are from Repro Depot, and lastly, some are from various thrift stores. There are about 72 large squares. So far I have them all sewn up and just need to attack three more rows. I’m not sure what I’m going to on the back side of the quilt. Probably something simple since the top is so busy. I’m excited about making a quilt to keep for myself.
Mood Fabrics
My mom was recently in New York and she mailed me 2 yards each of silk jersey from Mood Fabrics! She also included a black Mood bag. I am so psyched about it. I’m not sure what the fabrics will turn into, they are pretty springy, so they’ll probably stick around for a while. Winter’s just getting started here; I can’t get into the spring set of mind quite yet.
