Sophie
After a short few weeks of trying two different medicines, and some x-rays, Sophie passed away today. She was the best cat for me in so many ways. For Chris, too. I loved having her around, surveying my crafts, stealing my chair, begging for milk, just being a funny, silly cat. My roommate Charlotte and I picked her out at the Humane Society three and a half years ago when she was six. Eventually she was given to me and Chris, and became a part of our tiny family. I will miss her loud meows, her long chatty conversations, seriously very noisy for one so small. It was so hard to say goodbye, but I rest content knowing she’s no longer in any pain, that her passing on was the best thing we could do for her. I will miss her so very much.

I just stumbled upon your blog(from elsie marley’s blog)and was so sorry to read about your lovely kitty. I have a noisy little one myself, and I can’t imagine how hard it is to let go. I hope that you are able to find peace.
