Summer Knitting Projects

I’ve been working on these blue socks for maybe 6 weeks or more. I like to knit when watching TV so my knitting time is mostly then, and often when I meet up with Elena over a cup of tea. The yarn is nice to work with, it’s superwash so thank goodness it won’t shrink and felt like at least two pairs I’ve made!

The second sock was halfway done when I realized I’d cast on too few stitches. Way too few to make up. No idea where my brain was when I started that sock. I’m trying to knit it more often to make up for all that time spent working on it.

Until last week when I picked it back up, my sweater has been sorely neglected since I went on a craft retreat. I’m using the Treeline Striped Cardigan pattern with two different grays (predictable?).

As it’s my first sweater, I’m not going to sweat it (ha!) if it has a bunch of mistakes. Like different hem and cuff tensions. Oops. Also, I think I knit too tightly and it’s too small for me right now. Maybe I can block it larger?
